The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. GOTS ensures the organic status of textiles from the harvesting of the raw materials through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing all the way to labelling, in order to provide credible assurances to the consumer.

The PETA-Approved Vegan certification allows companies that sell apparel, accessories, furniture, or home decor to highlight their vegan offerings, helping consumers find animal-free products at a glance and make purchases that align with their values.

REACH Compliant | Piñatex, Desserto

REACH is a regulation of the European Union, adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals, while enhancing the competitiveness of the EU chemicals industry. It also promotes alternative methods for the hazard assessment of substances in order to reduce the number of tests on animals.

AFIRM Group Compliant | Piñatex

The Apparel and Footwear International RSL Management (AFIRM) Group is a brand-driven membership organisation of apparel and footwear companies collaborating to promote chemicals management in the global supply chain. AFIRM is facilitated by the Phylmar Group, an environmental health & safety and sustainability consulting company based in California. AFIRM’s focus has been the continuous advancement of chemicals management including phasing out or limiting restricted substances to established limits in apparel, footwear, and accessories.

USDA Organic | Desserto

The USDA National Organic Program regulates all organic agricultural products certified to the USDA organic standards. Organic certification verifies that farms or handling facilities comply with the organic regulations and allows producers to sell, label, and represent their products as organic.

Öko Garantie | Desserto

A certificate program for organic products issued by Kiwa BCS OKO-Garantie, the first German certification body registered under the Organic Regulation of the European Union.

DAkkS | Desserto

DAkkS (Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle) is the national accreditation body for the Federal Republic of Germany.
